MOSCOW, Aug 2 (PRIME) – Judicial district 422 of the Tagansky District of Moscow will hear an offence report drawn against messenger WhatsApp for refusal to localize data of Russian users in the country on August 26, a court representative told PRIME on Monday.
WhatsApp can be fined up to 6 million rubles.
Earlier, WhatsApp’s owner, Facebook, as well as Google and Twitter were fined on the same charges.
